The American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) is the leading national professional medical association dedicated to treating and improving the quality of life for children, adolescents, and families affected by mental, behavioral, or developmental disorders.

The AACAP widely distributes information here, and elsewhere, in an effort to promote an understanding of mental illnesses and remove the stigma associated with them; advance efforts in prevention of mental illnesses, and assure proper treatment and access to services for children and adolescents.

US Autism & Asperger Association (USAAA) is a nonprofit organization for Autism and Asperger education, support, and solutions. Their goal is to provide the opportunity for individuals with autism spectrum disorders to achieve their fullest potential.

LD Online
LD OnLine seeks to help children and adults reach their full potential by providing accurate and up-to-date information and advice about learning disabilities and ADHD. The site features hundreds of helpful articles, multimedia, monthly columns by noted experts, first person essays, children’s writing and artwork, a comprehensive resource guide, very active forums, and a Yellow Pages referral directory of professionals, schools, and products.
Brain Gym
The Brain Gym program has been used successfully by parents and teachers to significantly improve learning attitudes and achievement through non-academic means.  This program may help kinesthetic learners.
