I created links to each class's Google Classroom in the homework section at the bottom of this page. I will keep those links there for the reminder of the school year.

    3/24/20

I sent out a Remind message about completing a Google Form on our Social Studies Google Classroom. Please complete the form by Thursday evening. This form is to get feedback about families and their access to Google Classroom from home. The link directly to the form is provided here: Questions with Easy Answers

Share this information with classmates who might not have internet access at home. I hope you're enjoying your Tuesday!

    Hi, guys and gals!

I know things are a little bananas right now, and hopefully things will calm down and get back to normal in the coming days and weeks.  Until then while you're at home, please check my website daily to see any activities you could be practicing. You could always work on IXL skills and read, read, read! Keep a journal about what you do each day, how you're feeling, a fun story, whatever! It can be short or long and send it to me on Google at nnicholas@tamaquasd.org...I can keep in touch with you about my crazy quarenteened house too! I'll have some things posted on my Google Classroom in your LA classes eventually.

It might be odd being at home and it might feel a little "vacation-ish" to some. For now get good sleep, get outside, be positive, stay healthy and motivated, drink lots of water, wash your hands, cooperate and listen to your families, help out around the house, and soon enough we'll be back to school catching up on our time off and enjoying our normal routine again!

I'll talk to you soon :)

Hello! Welcome to a new school year at Tamaqua Elementary!  My name is Noelle Nicholas.  I am thrilled to be teaching fifth grade again this year. My teaching experiences include a long-term substitute teacher at Tamaqua Middle School, four years at Schuylkill Haven Middle School as a fifth grade teacher, and the last three years at Tamaqua Elementary. I'm originally from the Hazleton Area. I love to spend time with my husband, our chocolate lab, and our beautiful daughters, Grace, (and the twins) Lily, and Paige. I am excited for this new school year and all the fun adventures to begin!

Fun things about me: I love spending time with my family, watching HGTV, and eating chocolate. Reading on my Kindle is my favorite hobby.

If you have any questions for me during the school year, you may call the school at 570-668-3306 or email me at nnicholas@tamaqua.k12.pa.us. I will try to return your call either after school or during any available planning periods. Please allow me 24 hours to return your call or email.

Fifth Graders: Be sure to set a good example for your younger classmates. You should be displaying and abiding by the Raider Rules. Be respectful, have a positive attitude, work on being independent, show your determination, be enthusiastic and responsible, and ultimately you will see success.
