Book orders will be handed out this year. Use classcode "J7QLM" to find our homeroom and buy online. I am only accepting online orders this year to limit paper transfer. Virtual students may order online--just make sure you choose to have your books sent to YOUR house. Scholastic changed their policy and is allowing books to be sent to personal houses during COVID-19 and remote learning.
Please view the Google Classroom Help Guide "How To" presentation to familiarize with Google Classroom.

Hello! Welcome to a new school year at Tamaqua Elementary! My name is Noelle Nicholas. I am thrilled to be teaching fifth grade again this year. My teaching experiences include a long-term substitute teacher at Tamaqua Middle School, four years at Schuylkill Haven Middle School as a fifth grade teacher, and Tamaqua Elementary since 2015. I'm originally from the Hazleton Area. I love to spend time with my husband, our chocolate lab, and our beautiful daughters, Grace, (and the twins) Lily, and Paige. I am excited for this new school year and all the fun adventures to begin!
Fun things about me: I love spending time with my family, watching HGTV, and reading on my Kindle.
If you have any questions for me during the school year, you may call the school at 570-668-3306 or email me at email@example.com. I will try to return your call either after school or during any available planning periods. Please allow me 24 hours to return your call or email.
Fifth Graders: Be sure to set a good example for your younger classmates. You should be displaying and abiding by the Raider Rules. Be respectful, have a positive attitude, work on being independent, show your determination, be enthusiastic and responsible, and ultimately you will see success.
