            Innovation In Action

        Overview

In Technology Education (Tech. Ed.) students use tools and materials to solve
real-life problems.  Students work alone, in small groups, and as a class to find
solutions to open-ended problems.  In lab, students must research a technology-
related subject, analyze data, and develop solutions based on their research.

The inventors, engineers, and scientists of tomorrow are taking their first steps
in the Technology Education classroom today.  Our children are no longer sitting
in their seats passively receiving information.  Instead, students are actively
discovering facts and concepts for themselves.
