• Graduation Project
     
    9th Grade
    Students complete these requirements during the first 9 weeks of the academic year. Activities focus on career exploration and decision making skills. Basic Interest Inventory programs are introduced and completed.
     
    10th Grade
    Students must complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). Results from the testing are reviewed with the students during their 10th grade meeting with their individual counselor. Students must also complete a Job Shadowing experience. First page (absence permission slips) must be submitted a minimum of 48 hours prior to the date of the job shadowing experience. 
     
    11th Grade
    Students must complete a Career Research paper in their 11th grade Social Studies Class. They should also complete a college visitation, college fair or career fair visitation, military recruiter visit or job interview (depending on their future post-secondary plans). First page (absence permission slips) must be submitted a minimum of 48 hours prior to the college, college fair or career fair visitation. Finally, Students will complete a resume in their YES 1 course.
     
    12th Grade
    Students must complete the Career Community Resource worksheet which is available here on our website and in the Guidance Office. They should also finish up any of the other requirements not completed in previous years.
     
    All requirements must be completed by the first Friday in May of the student's senior year.
     
     
    Pathful Explore - students can find and complete their Career Cluster Inventory Survey here, as well as resources regarding career choices and college exploration!
     
    Senior Career Worksheet - link for the Career Community Resource Google Form. Must be opened with a Tamaqua High School email address.
