Ms. Miller

Ms. Miller pursued a career and her passion for art education. She attended Cazenovia College and graduated with a B.F.A. in Studio Art specializing in photography in 2010. In 2012, she earned a teacher's certificate in Art Education from Kutztown University. In 2019, Ms. Miller earned an M.Ed. in Art Education from Kutztown University.

Ms. Miller is thrilled to teach graphic arts at Tamaqua Area High School and return to the area she grew up. She teaches photo 1, photo 2, printing 1, printing 2, photojournalism, and graphic design. Ms. Miller has been teaching for nine years between Maryland and Pennsylvania. She taught for five years in elementary art in Maryland near Washington D.C. Before that, Ms. Miller long-termed substituted in various positions for three years, including TAHS, Northwestern Elementary, and North Schuylkill Elementary.

In Ms. Miller's free time, she helps her parents out on their goat farm, spoils her dog, Maeve, creates art, and reads. Her favorite mediums to work with are photography, colored pencils, and linocut.
