N.O.T.A. an a cappella singing group from Penn State University visited Tamaqua High School in March of 2012 to conduct a vocal workshop with members of the Jazz Chorale and Concert Choir. Students were treated to a performance of the group featuring selections by Katy Perry, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson. After the concert, students then worked with members of the group learning the ins and outs of "Pop" a cappella singing.
N.O.T.A. will visit Tamaqua High School again in November of 2012 to present a concert for both the high school and middle school students.
