Concert Choir is a large, mixed ensemble open to any student (male or female) who enjoys singing and performing. Music of many different style periods are performed from pop, to show, to classical. The choir has performed works by Bach, Mozart, as well as by Rascal Flatts, Queen, and Styx. The choir has done broadway show medleys from "Phantom of the Opera", "Les Miserables", "Jekyll & Hyde", "Chicago" and Disney's famous animated movies.
No audition is necessary to be a member of the Concert Choir.
The Concert Choir joins the Jazz Chorale and "Raider" Band each December for a holiday program, as well as a spring choral concert with the Jazz Chorale each May.
The Concert Choir takes an annual field trip to the Trills & Thrills Music Festival in Hershey.The choir is proud to boast that it has never received less than a rating of "Excellent" from the festival judges, and has received the highest rating of "Superior" a number of times.
