Mandated Dental Exams

By state mandate, ALL students must show evidence of receiving a dental exam during Kindergarten or 1st grade and in 3rd grade. You can have your family dentist complete the required form and return it to the school nurse OR you can have your child evaluated by the school dentist at no cost to you. The dental exam completed by the school dentist is just a screening where the dentist will look at your child's teeth and gums.

-CHILDREN CURRENTLY UNDER THE CARE OF A DENTIST ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO SIGN UP UNLESS THEY WILL BE DISCONTINUING CARE WITH THEIR CURRENT DENTIST.

-Children who have Medical Assistance, AmeriHealth Caritas, Avesis, Geisinger, United HealthCare, Aetna Better Health, Gateway, Capital Blue Cross, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, MetLife and United Concordia.

-No Insurance? Or have an insurance we do not pariticipate with? We can help! We believe all children are deserving of accessible dental care. We have a dedicated team to help. Please contact our Patient Access Coordinator, Jacqueline Grier at 484-464-5656 for any questions or assistance.
