• K-5 Emotional Support

    My name is Lauren Barr and I have been working for the TASD since February of 2017.  Prior to working in the district, I taught Emotional Support at Panther Valley for 2 years, and at a Pre-K Counts as the lead teacher for 1 year.  I had student taught at Tamaqua Elementary in the Emotional Support classroom prior to graduating from Bloomsburg University in 2013.  I have a dual certification in General Education and Special Education with a concentration is the Education of the Deaf/HH.  I received my Masters (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction for Applied Behavior Analysis through Arizona State University in May of 2019.

    Our classroom has two wonderful paraeducators named Ms. Jenn, and Ms. Julianna who are a huge help to this classroom's success!  I teach grades Kindergarten through 5th and focus on behavior management through use of a token economy and point sheets.
