I am very excited to be teaching at Tamaqua Elementary School and look forward to the 2024-2025 school year, I know it will be great! I am excited to be starting my 17th year of teaching. I am originally from Lake Village, IN. My hometown is located about an hour from Chicago, IL; therefore, I am a very loyal Chicago Cubs fan!
I am married to Jason Travis. We have two children. Owen (9) loves to play in the dirt, build things, and Minecraft. Addison (6)loves to drive her mommy nuts! They keep me very busy! We also have a dog. Her name is Shelby. She is 10 years old. Our family loves going to a family cabin in Shunk, PA. When we are there we spend a lot of time outside: we ride our four-wheelers, swim, and eat lots of smores around the campfire.
I enjoy playing with my children and spending time with my family. My favorite place to vacation is the beach. I love playing in the sun, reading a book, and listening to my favorite music.
