Welcome to my classroom! I am thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten at West Penn Elementary School. I am certain that we will have many positive experiences in the year to come!I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. After graduating from Tamaqua High School in 2003, I attended Kutztown University in pursuit of my Business Management degree. I worked in Hospitality for several years before returning to college to earn my Elementary/Special Education certification. I earned my teaching certificate through Alvernia University in 2013. More recently, I completed Alvernia University's Master of Urban Education program and am very excited to be starting my 9th year of teaching with Tamaqua School District.I currently reside in the town of Andreas. I enjoy quality time with friends and family, reading, cooking (or at least attempting to!) and spending time outdoors during my free time.
