    ScienceScience Curriculum

    We will be using a combination materials found through various teaching organizations and Mystery Science.  Students are engaged while they explore the natural world.  The children will be organizing, comparing, communicating, observing and keeping a science journal with their findings. Topics covered this year include Weather, Plant Life Cycles, and Animal Adaptation. 

     

    Social Studies Curriculum Social Studies

    Third grade Social Studies focuses on geography of our country and continents. Students will explore regions of the United States as well as the culture, climate, and economy from each. The units include: Map Skills, Regions of the United States, Landforms, and Continents and Oceans.
