I have enjoyed being a teacher for many years. For 2 years I taught Title 1 Reading in area Catholic schools. I also was a long-term substitute for 2 years in Kindergarten at the Pottsville Area School District. For 11 years, I was employed by the Schuylkill I.U. # 29 as an Early Intervention teacher. In 2004, I joined the great staff at the Tamaqua Elementary School.
I live in Pottsville with my husband Ned and my two daughters, Olivia and Peyton. I also share my home with three cats, Zeus, Osiris, and Isis, a labradoodle named Cooper and a border collie named Sophie.
When I'm not taking my girls to all of their various activities, I enjoy reading, learning all I can about the Civil War, running in 5K races and traveling with my family.
