    Title One Math

My Mother Mrs. Michalik and I

Hello Everyone!!! My name is Mr. Andrew Michalik and this is my eleventh year teaching  at Tamaqua Elementary. This is my second year  as the title one math teacher. Previously, I spent eight amazing years as a fourth grade teacher. Although, I have had many experiences in the district. I student taught in sixth grade, and substituted full time in fifth grade. It feels like yesterday when I was starting my new career as a fourth grade teacher, but as the saying goes; "Time flies when you are having fun!!!"

I was born and raised in Summit Hill, and attended King's College, where I earned a degree in elementary education. Some things I enjoy outside the classroom are sports, the outdoors, and relaxing with my friends and my family.

Some interesting facts that not many people know about me are; I played the role of the Scarecrow in my high school play " The Wizard of OZ", and I played football all throughout high school as well as college. I look forward to the upcoming  2020-2021 school year with your son/daughter and the great experiences that will come along with it!!!!
