• Math Expectations

     

    A.  STUDENTS RESPONSIBILITIES
     
    1.     You are expected to come to class on time.  Be prepared and ready to learn.  You should have your a pencil, binder, and any homework due.
    2.     You are expected to conduct yourself in an appropriate manner at all times.
    3.     Homework is to be completed and handed in on time.  Excuses will not be accepted!  All assignments must be neat, complete, and done in  pencil. All work is to be done in block format and solutions must be worked out.  If there is not enough room in the block to show your work, you may put the answer in the block and the work on another paper.  If you are absent, you are responsible for any work you miss.
    4.     Please sharpen your pencil and get paper before class begins.
    5.     The lavatory is to be used before or after class.  Exceptions will be made only in the case of an evergency.
    6.    Please raise your hand and wait to be called on if you have a comment or question.
    7.     Tutoring will be available on an as needed basis.  See your teacher for a pass.
     
     
    **IF THE ABOVE GUIDELINES ARE NOT MET APPROPRIATE CONSEQUENCES CAN BE GIVEN.**
     
     
    B.     Grading -      Your grade will be based on the following:
     
    *    Test scores
    *    Quizzes
    *    Homework (will be graded on accuracy and/or completeness)
     
    Note:     All test will be kept in room 301.  Test papers will not leave the room, unless a parent request to see it.  Then they need to be signed and returned the next day.
