The Tamaqua Area School District tennis courts are located at the west end of campus. The four tennis courts are home to the TAHS girls tennis team in the fall and the boys tennis team in the spring.
The residents of the Tamaqua Area School District are permitted to use these tennis courts. If interested in utilizing the facility, the resident must come to the main office of the high school to purchase a key to enter the secured facility.
The cost is $10.00. See rules for key holders below.

RULES FOR KEY HOLDERS…
Use of courts is for tennis ONLY! Appropriate equipment and shoes should be used at all times by individuals or groups using the facility. White soled tennis shoes ONLY.
Courts must remain locked AT ALL TIMES. Lock the gates after entering and when leaving. This will prevent “non-key holders” from entering.
Key holders and guest(s) are the only individuals permitted to use the courts. The key holder must be an adult (18 years of age or older) resident of the TASD. Cost to purchase a key is $5.00. Non key holders are prohibited.
Tamaqua Area School District tennis teams, physical education classes and pre-approved groups or functions are always given top priority.
All posted rules and regulations must be observed at all times.
Violation of any of these or school district rules/regulations regarding use of this facility will not be tolerated and will result in prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. Key and privileges will be surrendered.
A key is non transferable.
Court hours are from sunrise to sunset from April 1 to November 1.
The access road is for maintenance, emergency vehicles, and handicapped access. Court users are to use the middle school parking lot.
Alcohol beverages are strictly prohibited.
