Tamaqua Elementary

The Tamaqua Area School District is currently providing remote instruction until May 29, 2020 which will be the last day for the 2019 - 2020 School Year. Please visit your teacher's webpage and communicate daily for your assignments. The district's main concern during this time is that everyone stays safe and healthy. ChromeBook and Technology Handout Return:

Any student who received a district issued Chromebook and/or MiFi should return these devices at Tamaqua Elementary on Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 11:00am - 3:00pm or between 4:30pm - 6:00pm.

Any Elementary student who still has a district issued textbook should return the book to Tamaqua Elementary on Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 11:00am - 3:00pm. Books should be labeled with the student's name, grade, and homeroom teacher. Any concerns or issues returning textbooks, please called Tamaqua Elementary at 570.668.3306.

Elementary Grading Procedures for the 4th Quarter:

- The students will be receiving either a Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory grade for the 4th Quarter. Only the students' core subjects will be graded. This includes Math, Reading/Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
- Final grades will be an average of the first three quarters. The 4th Quarter will not prevent any student from promotion to the next grade. The 4th Quarter can only enhance a student's final grade for the 2019-2020 school year.
